The Alpha Course is an opportunity to find out about the Christian faith in a relaxed atmosphere.

Over 2 million people in the UK and 11 million worldwide have now attended an Alpha course, an opportunity to explore the meaning of life, running in tens of thousands of churches of all denominations across the world. For more information visit www.alpha.org

Alpha at CityCoast Church
We are not currently running an Alpha Course, but are hoping to restart in the future.

Purpose: To discover new truth and revelation from the Bible and through the Spirit that will positively impact lives.

Style: Teaching/learning using a variety of styles, including group interaction and practical application with more than one speaker/facilitator per evening.

Discovery is led by Simon and Ruth Lewis.

KickStart!
KickStart is a course exploring Christian foundations and is aimed at new Christians or those who want to revisit the basics. We have three levels of teaching which is provided in small discussion groups with lots of interaction.

KickStart 1 - Foundations
Looking at the foundations of our faith, including: salvation, baptism, the Bible, prayer, the Holy Spirit and the church.

KickStart 2 - Christian Living
Looking at how becoming a Christian changes the way we live our lives: identity, effective prayer, understanding the enemy, relationships, purpose, issues of life, etc.

KickStart Interactive
Practical training in how to study the Bible, pray, worship, prophesy, give your testimony, etc.
