Our Staff

Pam Willemse: Pre-school Manager
Pam qualified and gained experience in South Africa and has also completed an NVQ3 in Childcare & Education. She has a foundation degree in Early Years Care & Education and is working towards a BA in Professional Studies in Learning & Development (PSLD) and Early Years Professional Status (EYPS) at Brighton University. Pam is our Special Educational Needs Coordinator. She is also a first aider and has a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.

Slavka Balocka: Pre-school Deputy Manager
Slavka has an NVQ3 in Childcare & Education. She is a first aider and is Behaviour Management representitive. She has a certificate in EYPS.

Eve James
Eve has an NVQ3 in Playwork and is currently on maternity leave.

Helen Pope
Helen has an NVQ3 in Childcare & Education. She is a first aider and is our risk assessment coordinator.

Nuria Salcedo
Nuria has an NVQ2 in Childcare & Education. She is a first aider.

Lorraine Lawson
Lorraine has an NVQ3 in Childcare & Education and is currently on maternity leave.

Vicki Holdstock is an assistant practitioner and is hoping to further her studies in September this year.

Kelly Cottingham
Kelly has an NVQ2 in Childcare & Education. She is a first aider and will soon be starting NVQ3 in Childcare & Education.

Lyn Warner
Lyn is a 1:1 support worker. She has an NVQ3 in Childcare & Education.

Jo Trimble
Jo is working as maternity cover and is working towards an NVQ2 in Childcare & Education.

Angela Dyer
Angela is a 1:1 support worker. She has an NVQ2 in Teaching Assistance and will soon be starting NVQ3 in Childcare & Education.

Elaine Shingfield
Elaine is our administrator, ensuring the smooth running of the Pre-school office.

Bank Staff
We have a small number of people we can call on to cover for staff sickness and staff attending courses etc. We try and keep this to a minimum number of people so the children feel secure and have consistency.

Staff Training
We are committed to staff development and all staff attend at least 4 day courses a year. We aim to help all staff attain the highest standards possible for them. All our staff are CRB checked.

Supporting Trainees
We often have students from different schools, colleges and universities who spend time with us duing their training. They work along side us and are mentored by practitioners.
